Lectures in Universities in the Climate and Development week

The Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (FANC, SLL) is organizing together with four universities, a series of lectures about climate change and development cooperation.
The idea of the lectures is to try to understand and increase the interest on the relationship between south and north and the international climate policy, especially from the aspect of developing countries.
The speakers on the lectures are environmental advocates and civic activists from developing countries. Also researchers, experts and environmental activists from Finland are bringing their knowledge to the lectures.
With the variety of speakers the goal is to have a diverse series of lectures about current climate and equity topics, like the connections between climate and poverty questions. Target of lectures is to achieve interactive lectures and keep the topics open for debate.
